Temoc Engineering is a locally owned and operated company based in Richards Bay on the North Coast of KwaZulu Natal. Founded in 1999 the company has grown into a leader in the field of Fire Detection in the greater Zululand area.

We believe in keeping up with technology and are committed to training and uplifting of personnel. Most of our employees have been with the company in excess of 10 years.

We managed and installed the automatic tube transport system with its required laboratory equipment for HMI Ticor (now Exxaro) in 2002.

The equipment included an auto optical emission spectrometer, auto grinding machine and de-dusting system.

We managed and installed the complete fire detection and suppression systems for the Hillside 3 Expansion project in 2003.

that included all networking, development, planning, programing and the Scada.

We managed the Potmicro change-over and Installation as part of the Alpsys Project for Hillside Aluminium in 2007.

We have been and are still currently maintaining and supplying electronic equipment within Hillside Aluminium.

We are currently maintaining Hillside Aluminium Fire Alarm system and have done so since our inception.

We also do all modifications and new installations as requested by them.

We installed the complete Fire Detection System for the Protea Hotel Waterfront in 2007 and the Roadlodge

Hotel in 2008. Both of these hotels are located in Richards Bay.

We installed Conveyor Detection Systems at Richards Bay Minerals and are currently installing Pyrogen Aerosol

Generating Suppression Units in their electrical cabinets.

We have designed and installed the fire detection & Suppression system for the Mondi Chipper Plant upgrade in 2016.

We have also installed smaller Fire detection and Pyroshield suppression systems within Mondi over the last few years.

This only includes some of our achievements from the last few years, We have also installed Fire Detection & Suppression

Systems at various other sites, and are also responsible for the service and maintenance of these systems.
